Surrey Young Enterprise runs a number of events throughout the year as part of the Company Programme.
There are generally four different types of event, which are organised by the Area Boards:
Workshops
Workshops are held regularly for Achievers on topics such as financial planning, marketing and presentation skills. These workshops will not only help you to build a successful Young Enterprise Company, but will also give you some useful skills to help you in your future career.
Trade Fairs
Trade Fairs are opportunities to sell your company's product or service to the public. Some trade fairs have prizes for the best companies.
Competitions
Each year Young Enterprise UK runs a national competition for the Company Programme. Companies enter by producing an annual report, designing a trade stand and preparing a short presentation. The first stage is your area competition, with the top companies in each area progressing to the Surrey Finals. The winners then go on to the YE South East finals and hopefully the National Finals!
Meetings
Volunteer Advisers and Link Teachers regularly get together for training sessions, update meetings and social events.
